Seven spooktacular Matches with some serious Halloween attitudes joined Big Brothers Big Sisters staff for a night of Halloween fun! Matches got to choose pumpkins and then carve and paint until they created their own unique works of spooky art!
Then matches snugged in to watch the classic Halloween movie, Hocus Pocus. While matches munched on popcorn and candy, staff handed out trophies for each pumpkin carved by the LIttles. Trophies were awarded to Most Disgusting, Master of Disguise, Spookiest, Cutest, Scariest, Most Creative, and Most Undead. October 8, 2021

Big Brothers Big Sisters matches flexed their creativity, speed and agility during the Halloween Festival over the weekend. Littles used candy pumpkins to build towering structures ( STEM anyone?), mixed vinegar and baking soda to create their very own Witches’ Brew, and used glue, baking soda and contact solution to form creepy, crawly SLIME!
Matches had a chance to try a new style to take pictures in the Halloween themed dress up booth stocked with hats, funny eyes, fabric and A MINK FUR! (Vintage of course, so no animals were harmed.)
Matches had the opportunity to make construction paper sugar skulls or carve pumpkins. Then they raced to see who could score a coveted KING size candy bar by being the fastest to dress up like a scarecrow! Bigs and Littles tried their hand at Eyeball Pong and Witches Hat Ring Toss too. Each Little took home a bag of candy and other assorted prizes. October 17, 2021
