Tessa Spindler joins Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwest Indiana as an intern this fall. Spindler is originally from Evansville and is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree at the University of
Southern Indiana and is majoring in social work with a psychology minor. After completing this degree, she plans to obtain her master’s degree in social work next.
Described as empathetic, determined, and intentional, Spindler brings her talents to the Big Brothers Big Sisters team. She enjoys having new experiences in the social work field and helping young people along the way. She believes children are important because they are the
future. When she’s not working, she loves spending time with friends and family. She has three younger sisters and three cats.
Her favorite quote is that “The sun will rise and we will try again.”
Her favorite movie is Just Go With It and her favorite children’s movie is Frozen.
