It is with a heavy heart that I write to inform you I will be leaving my position as Executive Director of Big Brothers Big Sisters. Unfortunately, I have some medical issues that need my focus. I am currently working with our staff and Board of Directors to initiate our succession plan, and I will stay on as Executive Director until my successor is hired.
On a personal note, the past six years have been the most fulfilling of my professional life. I never thought I would have the opportunity to work somewhere that truly changed people’s lives and the community in which we live. I have had the privilege to work alongside and meet some of the most exceptional people our community has to offer. It has been an honor. Thank you to everyone who has reached out and been supportive throughout this process.
As our agency celebrates 50 years and looks toward the next 50, I am excited about the possibilities. With your support, our agency will continue to make a lasting impact while defending the potential of every child.
