Evansville, IN – March 14, 2025 – Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwestern Indiana (BBBS of SWI) is excited to announce the return of Bowl for Kids' Sake (BFKS) 2025, the region's premier bowling fundraiser, happening May 12–17, 2025 across multiple locations. Presented by Liberty Federal Credit Union, this year's event brings a high-energy 80s Rock theme, encouraging participants to dress up as their favorite rock icons while raising funds for local youth mentorship programs.
Event Dates & Locations:
May 14: Franklin Lanes (Evansville, IN)
May 15–16: Showplace Family Entertainment Center (Newburgh, IN)
May 17: Posey Lanes (Mount Vernon, IN)
Fundraising Goal:
$100,000 to support one-to-one mentoring programs that help local youth reach their full potential.
How It Works:
Teams of six bowlers are encouraged to raise a minimum of $500 per team to participate in this fun and meaningful event. Every dollar raised goes directly toward providing mentoring services that ignite the power and promise of youth in our community.
"Bowl for Kids' Sake is more than just a bowling event—it's a celebration of the power of mentorship," said Ryan Scott, Executive Director of BBBS of SWI. "This year's 80s Rock theme adds an extra level of excitement, and we can't wait to see the community come together in support of local kids."
Kickoff Event:
The excitement officially begins on May 1, 2025, with a special kickoff event to mark the Bowl for Kids' Sake countdown!
